Joe Evans & Courtney Wooleyhan, two police officers in Daytona Beach, Florida, were assigned to escort Santa & Mrs. Claus to a Christmas tree lighting on Saturday- easy stuff, right? We’re going to bet that they didn’t expect was about to happen to them.

I bet when these cops found out they had "protect Santa" duty, they NEVER expected their night to go like this.  They took the infamous couple to the mall, took some pictures, & headed back toward their car.  As they approached, they spotted some people trying to steal a tire from another car.  They searched their car & found they shoplifted from a bunch of stuff from six different stores.  They wound up arresting 3 adults & 1 16 year old- 25-year-old Shaijaun Christie, 19-year-old Johnarian Young, 47-year-old Debbie Champagnie, and the 16-year-old are all facing several charges, including petty theft, grand theft, resisting arrest, and more.
